What you’ll see,
and when.

Send at least three photos of your dog or cat — front, side and back, plus up to three close-ups. A person reads them first, one of our artisans shapes a chibi version — the head tilt, the one floppy ear, the patch that never photographs right — and emails you a color 3D preview before anything is printed. Everything below is what happens next, and when.

You do two things. We do the rest.

No 3D skills, no guesswork on your end.

Your part

  1. 01Send 3–6 photos + notes — phone pics are perfect.
  2. 02Reply to your preview — say yes, or say what you’d change.

Our part

  • A person reads your photos first
  • Our artisans take it from there
  • Print, sand, paint, check
  • Three photos of your piece along the way
  • Pack and ship with tracking

Nothing is printed before you’ve seen it.

What lands in your inbox, and when.

Most custom figurines disappear into a black box after checkout. Yours doesn’t.

= a photo of your own pet’s piece, sent to you.

Front, side and back phone photos of a border collie laid on a workbench

Day 0

You send 3–6 photos + notes

Front, side and back are required; add up to three close-ups of the face and markings, plus anything we should know: the ear that’s actually up, the collar they really wear. The more angles we have, the less we have to guess — and guessing is the #1 reason a figurine feels “off.” A person reviews your photos first; if one won’t work, we email you before anything is made. You pay when you order; you can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve your preview.

The color 3D preview we email you before anything is printed

Days 3–5

Your color 3D preview arrives

Your color 3D preview lands in your inbox — the pose, the markings, the colors. Reply with anything you’d change. Nothing is printed while we’re still hearing from you. AI does the first pass on every 3D model; our artisans do everything after.

From here, the clock starts on the day you approve

The next three steps are counted from the day you approve. No reply? We send one reminder 3 days after your preview; 3 days after that, we go ahead with the preview you last saw and let you know — and the clock starts there.

The border collie piece as an unpainted resin blank, fresh off the printer

Week 1 after approval

Your pet, before a drop of paint 📷

Ten to twenty hours on the printer, and your piece comes off the plate as a solid resin blank. You get a photo of it before any paint goes on.

The border collie piece half-painted, a brush adding the black coat

Weeks 1–2 after approval

Mid-paint, against your photos 📷

One artisan takes your piece from print to paint: sanding every curve smooth, then building up the coat layer by layer with your photos beside the bench. You get a photo mid-paint.

The finished, hand-painted border collie piece held in a hand

End of week 2 after approval

Checked, and on its way 📷

Every angle checked against your photos, then one last look: a photo of the finished piece before it ships. Tracked to your door — about 15 days in transit. US orders: no customs charges at delivery. Outside the US, local customs charges are the recipient’s — see Shipping & Delivery.

That’s everything you’ll see. Ready?

Before you approve
Reply with what you’d change and we’ll send a revised preview — each round adds a little time. Need more time to look? Just reply and say so; we’ll wait.
After you approve
We build exactly what you approved. The progress photos are there so you can watch it happen, not a second round of approvals.
If we don’t hear from you
If we haven’t heard back 3 days after your preview, we send one reminder; 3 days after that, we go ahead with the preview you last saw and let you know.

Rush: about a week on the bench instead of about two.

It skips the line, not the sanding.

Rush (+$19.99) moves your piece to the front of the bench — crafting takes about 1 week instead of about 2. It doesn’t skip sanding, painting or the final check.

Everything else is the same: the same preview, the same three photos, the same $19.99 tracked shipping.

Shipping time is the same — about 15 days either way.

You’ve seen the long way.
Here it is next to the short one.

Progress photos are included with every order — never an upgrade.

Three rules for the photos you send

Example: a beagle lying by a window in soft daylight, the coat colors showing true
1

Natural light

Near a window beats flash; daylight shows the real coat.

Example: a beagle photographed at its own eye level in a backyard, looking into the camera
2

Their eye level

Crouch to their height. Shot from above, we lose the face we’re supposed to model.

Example: a beagle in front of a plain wall, face sharp and nothing blocking it
3

Sharp and visible

Face in focus, nothing blocking it. Sharp-but-plain beats blurry-but-cute: we can add charm, we can’t add detail.

Not sure yours are good enough? A person reviews every set, and you see a color 3D preview before anything is printed.

Older photos are usually enough — what we need is a clear look at the face and where the markings start and stop. If one genuinely won’t work, a person emails you before anything is made and tells you which of your pictures to work from.
